I would trust Jerry's shop with my cars - there isn't a better place in the Denver area. Up north, there is another shop in Broomfield that could fix it. But, I have an 89 turbo that does just what your's does, and I'm leaving it be.
Make a mark on your coolant tank in the morning before you start it up. Drive it for say 4-7 days and check the mark before you start it up at a time in the day that the ambient temperature is about the same as when you made the mark. If the coolant level is below the mark, you've lost coolant, but it may be also in other places than the turbo.
My guess is condensation -- has it been humid in Denver or foggy?
