There is a circlip located right at the opening of the MC bore under the rubber dust cover. It needs to be squeezed together with circlip pliers to remove it, but, the piston may still be really stuck. That's why I remove the MC from the firewall and rebuild or replace it out of the car. (much easier to inspect and work on) Make sure the internal spring hasn't worn thin and broken into 2 pieces. Be careful not to cross the hydraulic line threads when re attaching. (leave the two mounting nuts loose so you can wiggle the MC to line up the flare nut.)
