Airflow Body Kit, vs. Aero? Posted by vsfoxe [Email] (#1025) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vsfoxe) on Tue, 13 May 2014 18:33:06 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Today I looked at an '86 900 Turbo, which (I think) had a "900 T16 3 DOOR AIRFLOW BODYKIT" on it. From Craig's List pictures I thought it had an SPG kit on it, but up close I see that the short panel between door & front wheel had a depression in it the shape of the Airflow badges. A friend of mine with an '89 with an "Aero Kit" was visiting this morning, and I know his didn't have the depressions for the emblems, because we were trying to figure out where the emblems went on his car?
So-Did Saab make two different kits? The one on the '86 I looked at today also had black "trim strips" on all the side panels, like the chrome ones on a normal C900 bumper. Can anyone please detail the differences between the 2 sets I saw today? The set on my friend's '89 Turbo looks like the Aerodynamic Styling Package shown in the 1991 Saab Accessories and Options booklet. Both are real Saab, I think? Thank you! Vern
