Great idea to remove the circlip and the first piston in order to push on the second with a screw driver.

The full story is that I went to several auto parts places and looked at the brake MC bench bleed kits. Ten dollars each and only came with one plastic hose fitting that was the right size. Thus two kits ($10 ea) were needed. Then I had the idea that why not use brake bleeder fittings and some clear hose I had in the garage? So I wrapped the bleeder fittings in tephlon tape and gently turned them in and then backed them out a turn. In theory, this should work exactly like the bleeder kit they were trying to sell me. If anyone finds fault with this method, let me know. Thanks for letting me in on your experience blue87 so that I should be confident that it should have gone a lot better than it did.

The thing that is bothering me the most now is that fluid is leaking slowly out the seal around the piston and now I can't even get the "rear" piston to flow clear without bubbles. So with one chamber not flowing and the other not clearing up and the leak around the piston...I think I need to return this one.
