The headlights in my “new” 85 900s are terrible, the low beams at anything other than a crawl are almost scary so Ive been running just the high beams. The lights very well could be the originals from 85, the lights in my 86 are some Sylvania xenon something or the others. My question is, do the H4 kits actually put out a better, brighter beam of light over a good set of new xenon sealed beams? This is the H4 kit Im leaning towards:
http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Golf_I-Rabbit-8v/Lighting/Headlights/ES7766/
but again, if the output is the same, Ill buy the Wagner’s from Rock Auto for $6 a piece and be done with it. Also, does the H4 kit require replacing the light plugs or are they plug and play? Thanks again!
