Knowing that you had a Motive, I guessed that the contaminated fluid was already expelled......I just had to get the thought out of my head of the reverse bleeding technique when the potential for contaminated fluid being pushed up into the reservoir.
Previous posts about the syringe lead to pet stores or livestock supply houses. They are rather large in comparison what you think of when the name syringe comes to mind. Perhaps take a hose to the store, that fits snuggly over the bleed zerk, and mate the plastic tip to that diameter, and you should have a pretty good system.
One of the other things we do religiously is to use Girling grease, the red stuff inside the slave and master. I even take apart the new ones to smear a coating on the seals -- you can feel the difference in operation, and the master might have less of a problem returning under spring pressure.
The tubes of that stuff aren't easy to find. I think I ended up with a tube from Moss Motors catalog, and then bought two large containers from the UK for a lifetime supply. Hoarding again........
