I bought my car '93 900T with a leaking power steering rack. I got under the car and determined that it was the high pressure feed hose, so I bought both the feed and return lines and replaced them this past weekend. I flushed the system accordingly and checked out the function of the system and saw that I'm not losing massive amounts of power steering fluid anymore. I hoped that the job was done, but unfortunately there seems to be small amount of fluid appearing on the 22 mm bolt on the bottom of the rack just under the junction where all the lines go. I did not see any fluid coming out of the junction area where I had connected the feed and return lines, I also tightened slightly the lines from the junction to the rack.
Where could this leak be coming from? Is there a seal around that 22 mm bolt that needs to be replaced? Any other places to look at? This is on the left side of the vehicle.
Thanks!
