Congratulations! And consider yourself fortunate that you did not add the stop leak. You should never use that stuff, at least not if you expect to keep the car any length of time.
The stuff works by hardening on contact with atmospheric moisture. What do you think happens if you have to open the system up later to work on it? Or if your drier is not up to snuff and there's some moisture in the system? The sealer just hardens hard as a rock wherever it happens to be! It can also contaminate recovery equipment if you ever have a shop work on it.
A friend of mine found this out the hard way this summer when he had to have his clogged evaporator replaced due to hardened sealer - on a vehicle that requires removal of the entire dashboard for that job. ($$$)
