Fellas,
I just traded(*) a set of HD Bilsteins for a set of brand new Konis. And before doing the swap I run Billies on damper tester. So here it goes: a set of 2yrs old (and having 15K miles of run-in) Billies vs all-new Konis:

The left report (having the later date in the header) is for Koni and right one is for Bilstein (made slightly more than a month ago). Передняя ось stands for the front axle while Задняя ось means Rear axle, blue Влево means left (actuall, 'to the left' - shame for that guy who did that localization) and green Вправо means right. Front Konis are set to the 3rd click (+50%), rears are set to maximum +100%.
Butt-meter confirms the graphs: Koni dampers are about the same as Bilstein after run-in, the difference is minor. Koni give a slightly more rounded ride while Bilstein tends to conceal nothing and tell you as much it gets from the wheels. Both variants are rather firm, although Billies were significantly more firm when new. I think it took them about 10K miles to run-in and settle down.

How to read graphs: each graph shows damping coefficient in % vs wheel shaking frequency in Hz (you place your car on a couple of platforms which shake it in a brrrrr-r-r-r-r manner). So the higher the graph, the better. Used rear Billies are more efficient (Bilstein graph goes higher in the resonant frequency) then new Konis set to maximum stiffness. Front dampers look the same whenever they are red or yellow.

Zig

Ok, I swapped them, not traded. The sale is on and since Mordor is under heavy elves' sanctions, it may take long to complete it. People of Mordor would like to thank a lot mr. Main Elf and wish him all the best.
