ha! but, yeah, if you found a truly rust free chassis for <$1000, you've found a great deal! All that other stuff can be fixed, and to be honest, for the most part these cars are so robust, it will probably be fine for a while even if you don't have time immediately to "make it right". Rust is the only real killer. The autotranny gets poor fuel economy on the highway with high RPMs but both transmissions are somewhat fragile and a lot of what makes the c900 fun is the handling. Sure a turbo is nice, but a bare bones NA still has that go kart feel. Enjoy!
