Hello again everyone,
I'm glad that some people found my pictures useful. Also, thanks to Saabina for the extra info on the buttons. You just saved me having to either buy another latch, or have the other spare I've got from a 9000 modified at the machine shop to fit the 900.
A note to all, the 9000 latches will NOT bolt up properly to the 900 seats, at least not the 9000 latch that I bought. They will accept the seat belt buckle though, and it does appear that the metal strip could be modified to fit 900 seats.
Anyway, I was able to transfer the button and return spring from my dead latch to my other latch making it useful again. The red button had disintegrated on my passenger seat belt latch, but otherwise the latch was still good. Now its repaired and ready to be used again! :)
