I thought about that as well. But, this one will now be used to pull the chassis up on a flat trailer, and then the rest of the engine hoist will be fastened/welded to a trailer hitch receiver, so I can lift engines or the chassis up behind the truck. Kind of silly, but I have to take the beasts back and forth to various trades to do media blasting etc, so I'm just making up an elaborate ground support equipment package. Eventually, it will serve it's purpose on two major renovations, and then the engine hoist can be assembled back to the stock configuration. I have to work alone mostly, so without extra hands, you have to do some pretty weird stuff to get things done.
I can push the car around in the garage now with one hand as I have lifting dollies for the two rear tires.
