Penetrol is basically Lindseed Oil Posted by Saabina [Email] (#33) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Saabina) on Tue, 17 Nov 2015 11:30:20 In Reply to: Re: Rear Spoiler Treatment, turbocon86, Tue, 17 Nov 2015 08:29:12 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Penetrol would probably make it look nice for a while and easy to re-coat by simply wiping it on. If the rubber is weathered and pitted like many c900 Vert spoilers and side trim, you can wet sand and prime with black primer and wet sand again until it is nice and smooth and then use SEM black Bumper Coater or Plasti Dip 'DIY Synthetic Rubber Coating' which is basically rubberized black paint. Comes in a spray can and not that expensive. One can will do a c900 spoiler multiple coats.
