Here is the problem....testing to see that a certain flow of air creates a certain amount of voltage. I think that we as a whole could get the parts and built new special unobtanium wire to rebuilt the AMM, but no way to test the result or change parameters to make the AMM produce correct voltage for the amount of air passing through. If the ECU isn't getting good info to process, then it's not going to be sending the right info to the injectors.
So, it's not really about fixing the AMM, it's about building a flow test bench to monitor the air flow vs voltage. Not something you can buy from what I understand.....Injection Labs built their own from scratch is what I recall.
I must say that I finally was able to take out a 2.4LH hopped up car tonight with good gas and an Injection Labs AMM installed. The darn thing finally runs great smooth power all the way up to redline. I fixed everything under the sun and then finally gave in and put in a reman AMM. It goes like the wind now....
So, this is the 91 red vert I've had for years, my second Saab and decided to take it to the Redrocks ampitheater in Colorado for the 30th anniversary of the convertible photo shoot put on by the Rocky Mountain Saab Club. I think there are over 200 verts registered for the event, should be a blast -- July 16th at 0900 is when the picture is taken.
