I've heard many horror stories about the Chinese axles, but, about 8 years ago I bought 2 at Advance and they have worked just fine. Now that doesn't mean yours will last, they might have cheapened them since then.
I have a volvo 850 that I used the same Advance ones and they did not last a year, I pulled them and Advance gave me new ones, but, as you know, changing axles isn't like changing a tire, it's a fair amount of work. The second set lasted through the winter so when the time came to replace I went with the best I could find, RAXLES. These Raxles are miles above the Chinese ones. They completely rebuild to perfection. The Volvo is going on 5 years now. They are great!
