Bolt size question 1992 AC compressor Posted by StoicBlue87 [Email] (#1829) [Profile/Gallery] (more from StoicBlue87) on Thu, 13 Oct 2016 09:05:11 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I noticed this morning during a quick under-the-hood check that my currently-paused AC service job now has a problem; the finger-tightened bolt attaching the hose flange to the AC compressor (image link attached) has fallen out and is probably lost (though I did find a missing spare copper washer).
Does anyone know the size of this bolt? I've got a great hardware store with extensive collections of metric and SAE fasteners but I don't want to be doing a lot of laps between the store interior and the parking lot in a search for the right size.
I've searched these archives and I've been finding some info on the compressor online (I'm pretty sure it's the Seiko Seiki SS-170PSS compressor).
If anyone knows, I'd be grateful. Thanks.
