About a four inch section of the hose had broken off just beyond the clip on the fender well closest to the firewall and ending at the vertical section going down to the firewall.
Fortunately, I had some hose in my box which has an inside diameter just slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the existing hose and it worked very well as a splice. Sometime in the future I'll either replace that entire section or make a proper splice with two double ended barb connectors. But for now that will suffice while I chase down any other gremlins.
Again, thanks for all the help. This is a great forum!
