Quick story... so when I got my 900 a few years ago I read a post recommending replacing all ignition components and the bypass valve.. so I did with pro parts. for years it has stalled on decal and not quite kept power at top boost...
Well last few months I realized...
1. The new valve was bad : on install (never held vacuum causing stall on quick decel) + I hunted all sorts of other stuff for leaks.. just assuming the valve with no miles on it was good.. I never checked it.
2. The pro parts wires were bad : The allowed arc even when brand new!!
I put the old bougie's back on (that were stiff).. and got a forged valve off Amazzzzon & pow runs great... I never had this sabotage with crappy parts.. what a waste of time..
Moral of the story is the supplier matters.. In fact when I went to check the wires one of the pro parts wares just pulled apart due to a weak crimp.. ugh.
Well happy Sunday.
