Understand the necessity of retard under boost. What I'm suggesting is slowing the dump by slowing the actuating flow into the capsule instead of a stronger spring or bleeding pressure. After reading endless threads on it here and on the performance board, seems like a 'forehead slapper' to just slow the action down at the source rather than the end mechanism - KISS principle. Since the many knowledgeable guys on here never did this, at least that I've been able to find, there must be a reason??? Disclaimer: I'm not looking for extraordinary boost/power. I'm running Blue Densos, 2.8 FPR and have SPG9, Red Box, -427 SPG & -599 APC's available. The SPG9 takes it aggressively to mid-red on the guage but the drivability is sketchy and I'm nursing a 200+k tranny. I'm happy with the Red box or -427 SPG box taking it to the yellow/red boundary. Just want to get rid of the flat spot as the boost goes positive.
