Always good advice from Scott Paterson.
Plan "B"....the radio code is a 4 digit number. Check your radio and equalizer again for a number like this, maybe written with a magic marker. If you have any manuals or paper work with the Saab, they may have written the code there.
Plan "C"....If you have an old Saab dealer close they will have a directory of VIN's that will show this code, if the radio and Saab came out of the factory together. They may ask you to bring the radio into their shop to eliminate the chance that your radio is stolen.
Good Luck
