Yes the bougie cord and Bosch distributor cap and rotor ,NGK spark plugs are the only thing you should use. I would stick with the stock air filter unless you plan on channeling it through the out side fender. I have done that to my car but you do have to remove everything in the front left portion of the fender. and the bottom of the red should be stock but I would get a pressure gauge and set the bass boost first should be at 6 PSI. once you've done that and you fixed all the vacuum leaks and you've replace the ignition stuff it should run back up to the bottom of the red. if you're wanting more power I would find Jack Stoll performance website get a chip from him for the fuel system. I have one it is a great upgrade, you have to put in 3 bar fuel pressure regulator bigger injectors. Which none of those things are hard to do. You can replace with silicone hoses. I made a tool to test the system after replacing everything to make sure I didn't have any leaks. Take the rubber connector that connects to the compressor on the turbocharger and put a PVC cap in the end of it drill a hole in the end of that cap to put a connector to hook up a compressor and slowly pump the system up to check for leaks. It worked great. I would show you a picture but I don't know how to post pictures. It's a very simple tool to make. I hope I answered all your questions good luck have fun
