I purchased a model 524N for my '97 9000 since it is a fairly close match to the original. I have not installed it yet though since the old one, while a bit weak, is still working.
The main difference between the DEI 524N and the 524F looks like two wires vs. five. The 9000 actuator uses two wires. Saab used some common parts between the C900 and 9000 so yours may well be the same. Easiest way to tell is to open up your door panel and see what it looks like.
