Thanks for a great series of writeups. I've read through all of the posts in this thread and have a few questions.
First, I'd be installing the alarm in a convertible with power locks and no remotes remaining so reactivating the power lock function is the main reason for upgrading the system. from what I read in the writeup I'll have to run wires from the box to under the passenger's side of the dash. What routing would you suggest?
Second, the car has a lock/unlock switch in the center console. Could I connect to it instead of the lock relay. I assume it goes to the lock relay, so would connecting to it serve the same function?
Finally, you showed the location for the alarm siren. Is it necessary or will the new unit trigger the horn as the Saabguard did?
