Thanks for the response Gary. The combination worked for several months before developing the issue, so I am reasonably confident something changed rather than the issue being a general configuration problem. Prior to this install, this particular turbo ran for several years on another B202 motor without issue. I'm not inclined to suspect operating conditions per se.
The idea of an oil inlet restrictor is a great idea, as that would allow me to determine whether the issue is oil bypassing at the turbo or a PCV issue. Oil feel to the turbo is AN hose and I have an oil restrictor fitting available to install. Do you have an opinion on a good size for the orifice? I don't know if what I have is an .065 or an .035, but I suspect .035 is probably too small for a regular journal bearing turbo. Would you agree?
