Hi All,
Thought I would add a question here, rather than start a new thread.
I've got the windshield out and replaced the worn seal with a precision aftermarket one. It has rounded top corners, but otherwise it fits ok.
I had to move the 3 metal brackets in the lower part of the molding and I'm now concerned that the middle bracket is at the wrong angle back in the seal. Do these brackets bend easily when the windshield is put back in or do they require a specific angle in order to not break the glass??
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Another windshield is not in the budget right now.
