There's almost always more than one possible cause for these kinds of problems but this one sounds like an open loop/closed loop injection issue. LH fires the injectors at twice the idle pulse rate for starting and then bases its pulse width on air mass meter readings during open loop. Once the oxygen sensor is fully warmed up the loop closes and the pulse width is based more on the O2 sensor. Try cleaning the air mass meter and make sure that its electrical connection is good. See if the air mass meter filament is getting burned clean when it should be. If the filament is caked up it won't make accurate measurements for the LH brain.
