The wiring is the same for either the oil temp or oil pressure gauge. In fact I think this is the same set-up as any VDO gauge that has a sender (unlike the voltage gauge where you just have to hook up a positive and a negative.
Not counting the light bulb (which is pretty obvious and only tricky for an LED bulb's polarity), the the gauge itself typically has three prongs: positive, negative, and sender. In the pic below, the white wire is from the sender. The sender only has one wire leading away from it because the engine provides the ground. They are fairly clearly labelled on the back of the gauge - the sender is the one labelled something different than +/- as shown on the wiring diagram link.
