Installing rear back seat pivot bushings Posted by Roger D [Email] (#1121) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Roger D) on Thu, 4 Apr 2024 12:08:39 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Installing a rear seat back has always been challenging for me. Those 'U' shaped nylon pivot bushings don't like me at all. The latest episode is particularly challenging. I just noticed the nylon bushings are not symmetrical. One 'leg' has a larger bulge. So there must be front and rear 'legs' of the U. I've always put the nylon bushings in the floor bracket and hammered the seat pivot shaft into place. So I'm wondering if the nylon U's should be put on the shaft first? Which leg of the U goes forward?
