Hello Community,
I have an esoteric question for the experts. I am rebuilding the wastegate on my 1980 900T. The stem on the new valve I bought is a little too wide to fit in the valve guide and, after some searching, I found a local shop that can bore out the guide. They need to know, however, the specified tolerance for the space between the valve stem and guide.
I hope that makes sense and that someone in the community can either provide the required tolerance or direction on where to find it. I already asked my usual SAAB mechanic and he wasn't able to help.
Thanks,
Mark
