Maybe try Replacing part of line and use a union

Had to replace nylon line due to leak near AIC. Got a new section from NAPA and pressed old banjo fitting onto one end of new line. Cut old line where it comes out of inner fender into engine compartment and used a union to join to replacement section. More details in an older post (below) where did same for squirrel damaged nylon line feeding fuel filter.
