'higer' offset number, its more likely that it would rub on the inside of the tire or wheel; on the spring, than on the outside on the fender. Agree 205-55 prolly too tall. 205-50 or 195-55.

Inside rubbing you can sometimes fix w/ a spacer, say 1/8 or 1/4".
