Like Kevin states, you are doing more harm then good running pressures like that :o( I have heard previously that low 20's is the MAX a OEM turbo can take & the OEM T3 that I replaced a few years back lasted about 40K miles & I was only running 15-18 PSI.
So with the proper head work, 25 PSI before the engine work might only require 18 PSI with larger ported head. When I went with a T3/T4 hybrid turbo, 12 PSI from that was much better then 15-18 PSI with the OEM turbo.
Heat is BAD!!!
