I did this very thing a couple years ago. My CC was salvaged from an 87' and I installed it in my 88'. As I recall, it was very straight forward. I seem to remember the hardest part was installing the wires into the big block of the main wire harness way up inside the driver's side foot well (back above the hood release). I ended up getting an entire wire harness block (cut out of a junker) and pushed the pins I needed out with about 2 inches of wire attached. Then it was just a matter of splicing those onto the wires from the cruise. The wiring diagrams and pin assignments in the Bentley were invaluable and an absolute MUST for this install.
If you have any specific questions, email me. I'll do my best to remember the answers :)
