Bigger Turbo or Chargecooler....just thinking ahead.longish

Well I'm always trying to think ahead, like the most of us with the idea of more power. Where I'm wanting my 1989 900T with all the SPG 9 goodies is to a place where when I really need to go its there. This will not be my drag car, but when on the highway I want to be able to boogie past some of the "heros" out there. No AID adjustment yet, will do it this weekend.
I have been trying to figure out what is going to be the best bang for the buck. I've tracked down a few Chargecoolers for around $850, and as well as some good turbos for that same $$. What I don't want is to be breaking things right and left, but a really fast and reliable car. (Yes I know the old saying, "If you want to play you have to pay." I have read both info and both sound like they will produce some serious HP. The chargecooler will not add any extra stress to the engine. Ie not adding any more psi, but just making the stock turbo more efficient. Now the larger Turbo big hp gains and more boost, but possible more damage. So I'm not sure which to do at this point. Any ideas????
