Hello all,
No, I'm not selling my SPG, rather, my significant other is wanting a 900TC. We looked at a 88 900TC (black)5 spd with the airflow kit, BBS rims, dual sport exhaust, in very good condition. Head was resurfaced and clutch done less than 2,000 miles ago by the Saab dealership(he has all books and records, car supposedelly originally owned by a Atlanta Braves pitcher.) Car also has new radiator and no oil leaks visible (yes, I know, it must be bad then!)
On the downside...it has 149,000 miles on the odo, nice size tear on the top (although the top looks new otherwise), broken heater valve and some rust showing at the bottom of the door sills (not on the door itself, but where it rests on). Otherwise, no other rust spotted outside (paint in great condition) or in the engine compartment area.
Boost tops at 1/2 yellow but otherwise the car drives great. Tranny is smooth and the handling is excellent...also, no accident history.
Is this a decent price for this car...seems a bit steep considering the mileage. But a good looking (and not trashed) Saab is hard to find in West Central Florida where weeks go by before I even see another Saab on the road.
As always, thanks for the input!
Boris 88 SPG (black also....man, would those two cars look great in the driveway together!)
