Make sure no vac leaks
clean throttle body thoroughly, including removing the idle bolt.
check sys pressures per Bentley manual. Use $56 CIS tester from JCWhitney .... search BB for my info.
Test fast idle valve by removing, and put 12V to it to be sure it closes, and put it in fridge to be sure it opens. They can just get a little wimpy. If so, cold idle can be raised a little by loosening the tiny lock nut on the fast idle valve, and nudging it out .02 inch or so.
