Finally after about 2 years I think i got my 88 SPG running like it should. This last weekend i found it - a bad bypass valve but i also adjusted the timing and put on the bigger turbo ducts. My timing was at 20 was i killing my engine? I brought it to 15 but found out its supposed be at 16--Will 1 degree make a big difference? Anyway I have abunch of mods-- red apc,G6 exaust,K&N,3.0FPR and was only getting 3/4 yellow boost. After this weekends work,the boost shoots to 1/2 red boost but hits the cutout switch.(Thus, dash in face)My question is should I just adjust it or bypass it completly? And how do i go about? Rip the dash out or can i get access it from the speaker grill? Also whats the next mods i should perform? Thank a ton from everybody who has helped!!!!
