It sounds fine to me. My car does the same thing. When the oil is cold it is thicker, this brings the psi up. As it heats up the pressure drops.
When the 10w-30 oil gets to about 160 degrees, my idle psi is around 15 psi, when I'm on the highway it's about 60 psi.
If you're at 10psi at 3,000 rpm then I would really start to worry!
