I've only had them about a month, and have not yet taken them on snow/ice (you actually have to drive somewhere ELSE to get that here in winter).

I am going up to the mountain this weekend, however, so I can report next week on how they do, but it will be hard packed snow with maybe a little ice, no unplowed stuff.

As for dry/wet road performance though, it's quite good. It looses quite a bit of steering response to my Kumho 711 summer tires, and is not nearly so predictable in transition situations, ie swerving or even just changing lanes quickly. However, once set in a corner, the tire is very predictable and solid, the bare road (dry or wet) grip seems quite commendable for a snow tire. It's also pretty quiet, in fact quieter than my Kumhos, though that's not saying a lot. The ride is still a tad hard, but this has been the case with just about every tire on my car. I'm going to try dropping down to 30-32 psi as the visor recommends, instead of the 36 or so psi I have ran in the past. When I first had the tires put on, they were about 32 psi except an odd one that had somehow leaked down to 20 psi, and the ride with the lower pressure seemed a little better and stability at freeway speeds was better also.

Hydroplaning resistance is somewhat less than I was expecting, but still very good, and wet traction overall is excellent. The amount of squealing is quite a bit less than I was expecting though, when the tire is pushed hard on dry roads.

I have the 195/60/15, on the stock wheels.

I'll report on the General BB sometime next week probably, regarding how well they do in snow. I haven't been a snow tire afficionado though, so I can't really give much comparison, nor have a driven a great deal in snow.
