comfortable with.
1) If you can get the ACC CONTROL unit out then just reach into the opening and push the ACC sensor out from behind. The ACC control unit comes straight out. You may want to put some electrical tape around the tip of a couple of screwdrivers and then pry on the sides of the control unit. It should come straight out.
2) If you don't have TCS and the slot next to the little fan is a blank then just pry out the blank and work the sensor out.
3) If you have TCS then you can also work from the top from where the heater switches are. Take the small horizontal trim piece right above the heater switches, pull the heater switches out (keep the cables attached or tie a string around them before disconnecting, otherwise you would go fishing for them later). Then work the ACC senor out as you see fit.
4) You can also try prying directly at the sensor with a couple of screw drivers (with taped over blades to mininize any scratching).
The ACC inside temperature sensor does not have anything holding it from the back, just the cables and it should come straight out when pushed from behind. The hard part is get to its behind :-).
Just don't force anything, if you are using excessive force, then you are not doing it right, try another way.
