I brought my 93 9000 CS to Lighthouse Motors in Brewster, NY. They agreed to ring me up for 1/2 hr. in labor to have the mechanic spend a little time road testing and under the hood, etc. with my car to diagnose various sounds and check a few things out for me. I felt they gave me a pretty comprehensive report.

They also "reset the code" on my SRS light (yeah!!), that has been flashing for the last year since a mechanic in western PA yanked the relay after my car broke down out there in a heavy rainstorm (water killed the ECM). Told me my water pump on the way out. Squeaking pulleys. Shocks good. Exhaust good. Car sound.

This ran me the grand total of $38.00. I just ordered the water pump from eeuroparts.com, plus both pulleys, timing chain and balance shaft chain. I'm going to replace both chains pre-emptively since I have 170K on the originals.

I think I got my $$ worth and the above parts cost me all of $160.60 at eeuro plus free UPS shipping.
