Bosch, splitfire, and others,,

I have older (80's) SAAB's and have been nothing but pleased with the Bosch platinum plus plugs in them. I guess it may be shade tree mechanic thoughts, but if Bosch made the ignition and fuel injection, I figured they probably made the plug to fit and work too. Have not been disapointed there. But in my 1 ton Dodge truck, I was highly disapointed. Dodge V-8's are not known for starting good when hot, and the Bosch plugs seemed to make it worse. NGK's were no better. But for some strange reason, the splitfires start the truck better. (also tried Champion, AC Delco, FoMoCo/Autolite) I do know that the Dodge system has a low plug voltage at low RPM's I'm guessing that the splitfires, for whatever reason, made better use of what is there. No performance gain that I could tell, just a better hot start. If the NGK's are matched to the DI system, and thats what I was running, then I would stick with them. Just my 2 cents (or bucks) worth.
