But unplug the O2 sensor wire and see if this makes the car duplicate the problem. This would indicate that the default for the car while waiting for the O2 sensor to warm up to operating temp is to rich/lean. There is a service bulitin for certain cars to check the default voltage on the O2 sensor with the sensor disconected. It should be 0.5 +/- 0.05 volts, if its 0.6 it indicates a computer fault. My 88 does this and I just decided to live with it cause I've been 2 lazy to change the amp. The other thing is if unplugging to O2 sensor duplicates the problem, that lets you troubleshoot it further cause you would know when it is fixed. A vacume leak would be a good possibility.
