OK, either we need to count to five by way of 8, or we triple up on some of them. All of Robert's items are right on, just that 5 isn't enough.
Unless you have documented proof it's been done in the past year:
Flush coolant & replace thermostat
Flush brake fluid
Change oil and filter
Things to check - maybe no problem, but if there is, fix 'em - a small problem here could crop up expensive later on:
-Battery & cable condition
-CV joint boots and brake pad thickness
-Let engine idle, and make sure radiator fan comes on, and at the right time
-Find a day above freezing and make sure the A/C works
-Exercise all power windows. Leave the sunroof alone. If a window is going to get stuck down, you want that to be in your driveway, not at a tollboth 50 miles from home in snow.
-Drop a can of drygas into a full tank
-Check that all brake lights work. Make sure the interior light in the trunk goes out.
-Check the heat, and sniff for telltale coolant leaks on warm-up.
