'92 ACC part location Posted by rreid [Email] ![]() ![]() |
I am trying to track down some problems with my ACC and after reading Jon's post, I started looking at it again.
Where is the "blended air sensor"? I know about the cabin air sensor and have cleaned it, but I have never heard of this one. It's funny how some parts are not listed in the Saab Quick Reference Catalog.
My problem seems somewhat similar to Jon's. The car interior initially heats up very quickly. Once the interior temperature has been reached, the ACC will only blow out cold air unless the temp setting is run up to HI. Something in the ACC gets confused after the initial interior temp is reached. The remainder of the trip and/or the next hour or two it will not return to blowing hot air when needed. Next morning or a few hours later it will start and work fine until it reaches the set temp and then the cycle repeats.
The rod on the blend motor down in the aquarium is connected and seems to work fine.
Any ideas? TIA
