OK, maybe I'm just picky. My 919kcdt valve cover gasket leaks from the chain side. I've replaced the gaskets twice, torqued them down appropriately, but still no dice. I EVEN got a new valve cover, thinking the old one was perhaps cracked or somehow damaged. Nothing.
With the new gasket, it stays dry for, like, 3k miles. Then leaks.
I've not used forma-gasket or any other sealants per Townsend's recs. Cant seem to find any anaerobic sealants locally.
Any suggestions? TIA for the help.
Patrick
