This just happened to my friends car. He had to goto three different body shops before the final one figured out that his rim was bent by about 1 inch. After it was corrected everything was fine. Note that his alignment was fine as well as there was no structural damage and when he tried to drive his car even at 30 mph it felt like it was just going to fly off the road.
