(lack of) Experience is everything ! Well, after replacing the DI casette my -94 FPT performs better than ever before. Even the low throttle hesitation is totally gone now - with the bypass valve adjusted to 250 mbar. If you remember, I tried (and partly succeeded) to solve the hesitation by increasing the opening vacuum level to around 500-600 mbar. Now with the new DI casette the boost is smooth and very progressive. And power is up like never before. So, we should not jump into any conclusions before seeing the whole picture, in such a complex engine everything is inter-related. Lu, the plug gaps are 0,9mm. I might try to increase the gap to 1.0mm, but because of the higher than stock boost level (CC stage 1) I thought the 0.9mm would be easier on the DI (and still well within the 0.8-1.1 mm recommendation).
