Just remove the ACC computer from the dash by taking the ash tray out, reaching in and popping out the unit from behind. Since it will still be connected electrically, it is best to perform this operation with the ignition off. You don't have to unplug the unit. Remove the screws holding the metal casing of the unit. You'll see the lamps mounted in little quarter-turn plastic fasteners, or rather you'll see the fasteners: the bulbs are on the other side. Remove the fasteners.
Now here's where it get's interesting. (This hasn't been a riveting tale 'til now?) The bulbs cost an arm and a leg at your Saab dealer, but you can "repair" the lamps by going to your local RadioShack and buying miniature 12V lamps which come with wire leads. They come 2 to a blister-pack and cost less than $2.50 a pair, if I remember correctly.
Replace the lamps "lacing" the wire leads in the fasteners the way old lamps were. Replace the fasteners. Make sure there are no frayed/bare wires touching any metal parts and briefly turn on the ignition to check your handiwork. If everything's okay, turn the key off and button everything up. Then wait for nightfall.....
