Ok, my '91 turbo sits in my garage for a week while we vacation in Las Vegas.
I drove around running errands, started and ran fine, then went to work today, car started fine, drove fine and no problems with boost. I am on my way home tonight, it's +10 deg F, entering the highway. I am accelerating through the gears and the needle hits just to the edge of the red/yellow lines and backs off to edge of yellow. I am now in 5th and hit the gas and get a shuddering/stuttering feeling that rather shakes the car. It is a feeling of not getting enough gas or way too much air on a carburated engine.
I changed fuel filter about 5,000 miles ago and proper plugs about 500 miles ago. It runs fine at lower RPM's and idles and revs smoothly. Once the boost starts to kick in it gets all crazy.
What should I check for or replace?
BTW, all the money I won playing Blackjack, my wife lost on the slots!
TIA!!!
